Dulwich College Yangon offers students a unique opportunity to achieve academic distinction and personal excellence. Each year, we will offer a number of Scholarships to girls and boys with that spark of potential.
It’s all about the individual
There is no one particular type of students that succeeds at Dulwich. The range of opportunities available promotes the discovery of hidden talents, and encourages a higher level of achievement in every subject.
Dulwich is offering over 20 scholarships for students who will be entering Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 in the 2019 - 20 academic year (students born between 1 September 2004 and 1 September 2008). Awards are offered primarily for academic ability, though an additional strength in Music, Art and Sport will certainly strengthen an application. The scholarship will be worth up to a maximum value of 50% of fees. The precise number of awards will depend on the quality of the field.
All applicants for the scholarship must go through the standard application process.
In addition, they will be required to write a special application statement by hand, outlining why they would like to study at Dulwich, what contribution they would make to the school and what they hope to do after they leave. Subject to a satisfactory statement and reference from their current school, they will be invited to visit Dulwich to sit assessment tests comprising of a computer based test and hand-written tasks. There will also be an opportunity to demonstrate any particular talent such as Sport, Music or Art. All candidates invited for assessment will have an interview with a senior teacher at Dulwich.
The last date of form submission is Monday 11 March (12 pm).
The assessment sessions will take place throughout February and March.
